18 Mar Duckworth Deserves Support for S.C. Seat, by Monroe Baldwin

Monroe Baldwin QuoteAn important event occurred when Greg Duckworth announced his candidacy for the District 104 seat of the S.C. House of Representatives.

We now have an opportunity to extend the City of North Myrtle Beach’s way of progress to the state level by rebuilding seat 104 into a pillar of strength. District 104 can finally have our full share of the state budget.

Greg Duckworth has the track record to get us there. He has been a key member of North Myrtle Beach’s City Council team and has demonstrated incredibly productive leadership for many years.

Think of the programs that have been put in place that enable our citizens to enjoy year around commerce and wellbeing. We have bold annexations, quality developments, sports tourism, a leadership position in the state’s wind energy programs, environmental upgrades with storm water outfalls.

We have set a pace forward and we have momentum; let’s pass the District 104 baton to Greg Duckworth in the primary this spring.

Monroe Baldwin lives in North Myrtle Beach.
