01 May District Needs Our Fair Share, by Terry L. Huber

Terry Huber QuoteTo the Editor,

The days are long past when one member of a legislative body can get everything that his or her district needs just by working alone. Today, it’s necessary that a legislator works with others to get things done.

Members of the SC House of Representatives from the upstate learned this long ago. That’s why that region gets so many of the benefits in South Carolina. That’s why our District 104 is a “donor district” that sends more tax money to Columbia than we get back.

Greg Duckworth has proven that he can work with others to get things done. He doesn’t let ego keep him from working with others. He doesn’t need to have his name on every step of every project in every program.

Duckworth isn’t worried about getting credit for his achievements. He worries about getting things done for the people he represents.

Greg Duckworth, candidate for SC House of Representatives District 104 has achieved much during his three terms as a member of the NMB City Council by working with the other members of Council.

Just think of how much he can achieve to help us by working with other members of the SC House! Please vote for Greg Duckworth for SC House of Representatives District 104 on June 10th. We need to start getting our fair share!
