11 May Duckworth Brings People Together, by Patricia Sanderford

Greg Duckworth, candidate for S.C. House District 104, has served three terms as a member of the North Myrtle Beach City Council. While on City Council, Greg showed that he understands the simple fact that different groups have different needs and they don’t always easily fit together.

Rather than avoid controversial projects, Greg worked to bring the various member groups in the city together so that they could support projects that benefit everyone. Greg found ways to get input from the business community, the retirement community, the working citizenry, tourists and others to gauge the possible impact a project would have on each group and then worked to find ways to ease those impacts while still allowing the project to reach its goal.

Greg has proven that he can bring different groups together so that he can build a coalition that will be more powerful than people working separately.

I’m voting for Greg Duckworth for House District 104. I hope you will join me and elect Greg to help us get the benefits we need from the state.

Patricia Sanderford is a resident of North Myrtle Beach.
