20 Apr Duckworth will Bring Cooperation, by Cleo Steele

I am glad to learn that Greg Duckworth has decided to run for State Representative in District 104.

Greg is a common sense conservative and a small business owner who understand that the primary focus of government should be to create an environment that nurtures the entrepreneurial spirit. He knows that limited, practical government is the best way to do that.

One of Greg’s strengths lies in his small-business experience. He has run a successful business for over 20 years and understands that government must never overreach and become overly involved in the day-to-day operation of a business. Greg believes government should eliminate as many roadblocks as possible, not add them.

Perhaps the greatest strength Greg will bring to the House of Representative is his ability to work to build consensus and find creative solutions to his community’s problems. He understands that no individual can achieve as much as cohesive group pursuing the same goal can achieve.

Greg Duckworth has shown he is not ego-driven but rather works to make a contribution to his community, his state and his country.

We are lucky that Greg has agreed to be a candidate for the South Carolina House of Representatives. I urge you to vote for Greg come primary day. I know I will.

Cleo Steele is a resident of North Myrtle Beach.
