Horryites-visit-the-State-Capitol-for-4-H-Legislative-Day4-Hers from counties throughout the state educated members of the Horry County Legislative Delegation and their staffs about the importance of 4-H programs recently during 4-H Legislative Day at the State Capitol.

Horry County 4-H members Nora Hurt, Hannah Wibel and Trinity Walker, 4-H parent Shannon Walker and 4-H agent Miracle Lewis accompanied the girls. They met with their senator, Luke Rankin, and local representatives, Kevin Hardee, Heather Crawford, Gregory Duckworth, Jeff Johnson, Stephen Goldfinch and Russell Fry. The group also met with Josh Baker from the Governor’s Office and received an update on political issues. The children thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the statehouse and appreciated the time their legislators took to meet with them.
