17 Feb Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corp.: SC State Representatives Show Horry County Students Why South Carolina is ‘Just Right’

Recently, S.C. State Representative, Greg Duckworth and Regional Workforce Advisor, Eileen Patonay visited Waterway Elementary in Horry County to talk about how South Carolina is ‘Just Right.’

Rep. Duckworth and StudentsDuring their visit, they shared the new Color Me ‘Just Right’ coloring book with the students. The coloring book highlights unique landforms, parks, historic sites, towns and cities that help make South Carolina a land that’s just right for work, life and play. From A to Z, students learn about the state and color South Carolina “Just Right.’

Why South Carolina is ‘Just Right’There’s something about the Palmetto State that makes it just right for people from all walks of life and for companies of all kinds and sizes.

The ‘Just Right’ campaign reflects the relaxed, welcoming spirit of our state, and the tenacious charm of her remarkable people. It’s a non-partisan, state-pride anthem that celebrates bbq, flip flops, backroads and sweet tea. It’s a rallying cry for South Carolina that recognizes things aren’t always perfect but that they’re always getting better. Singular and powerful, ‘Just Right’ draws on the different reasons and voices of all the different people who love our great state. Ultimately, the sentiment says what so many want to but can’t find the right words for… or quite put their finger on: that South Carolina is ‘Just Right.’
